Danielle is the co-founder and CEO of The Helm. Prior to launching this business, Wilkie served as President, Customer Success for Compass, Inc., a national real estate company, where she launched Coaching at Compass. She also served as President, Central Operations where she oversaw an organization of more than 5,000 staff and agents and was named an officer of the company at its IPO in April 2021.
Prior to Compass, she served as Senior Vice President, Marketing for Craftsy (purchased by NBCUniversal), and led product development and marketing at NetQuote (sold to Bankrate), Angi (f/k/a HomeAdvisor and sold to IAC) and SafeRent (sold to CoreLogic).
Wilkie holds an MBA from University of Colorado and a BA from Smith College. She serves as an equity advisor with Rice Park Capital Group and is an instructor with The University of Chicago.

Kamini Rangappan Lane serves as president and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Realty. One of the nation’s largest real estate brokerages, Coldwell Banker Realty includes approximately 52,400 affiliated real estate agents doing business in more than 55 markets across the United States. Prior to stepping into this role, Lane served as President of Brokerage for Sotheby’s International Realty.
She also served as President of West for Compass, Inc., a national real estate company. She oversaw an organization of over 10,000 staff and independent contractors, led all agent-facing operations for the West Region, and was a named officer of the company through the IPO.
Prior to Compass, she served as chief marketing officer of Tradesy, a marketplace for designer fashion and led groups at Rapp (global digital marketing agency), Interbrand (brand strategy agency) and eBay.
Lane holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. With over four decades of experience in the real estate industry, Anita recently transitioned into a role as a Real Estate Advisor, where she continues to share her deep expertise in the field. Prior to this, she spent over four years at Compass. She first acted as Managing Director of Special Projects which included luxury brand initiatives and overseeing the integration of four premier companies’ sales leadership into one team. Her next position was as Real Estate Advisor for three Presidents of Northern California which led her to be named the Regional Vice President for Northern California, overseeing critical business analysis, mergers & acquisitions, and special projects where she oversaw over 5000 employees and agents.
Before selling her company to Compass, Anita was Principal and Executive Vice President, along with her four partners, at Paragon Real Estate Group, where she spent over 14 years leading the company from a start-up through periods of substantial growth and change to a company of 400 agents and employees. Her leadership and vision were integral in Paragon’s eventual acquisition by Compass. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President and Sales Manager at Pacific Union Residential Brokerage for 14 years, where she honed her expertise in recruiting, development of new associates, luxury brand development, managing high-performing sales teams and building strong client relationships. Before transitioning into Sales Management, Anita was a salesperson for a boutique firm in San Francisco.
She served on the Board of Directors for two terms at the San Francisco Association of Realtors, as a CAR Director and numerous terms chairing and serving on various committees at the association. Anita is by far the most passionate about fostering the Community fund at Pacific Union and the development and oversight of Paragon RE Groups Community fund which donated over one million dollars during its existence. Paragon’s fund was directly responsible for the beginning of the Compass Cares program.
Anita remains passionate about real estate, lending her advisory services remotely to clients across the United States. Her enduring commitment to the industry and proven leadership make her a highly respected figure in the real estate community.
